Night Owl Lacquer "Nightfall" - 1 Year Anniversary Polish
Short and sweet post today! I just have one polish to share, along with a coordinating scented wax melt.
"Nightfall" is the Night Owl Lacquer 1 Year Anniversary shade. Can you believe this brand has only been around for one year!? I only recently discovered the brand, but I'm already very impressed.
Release Info:
"Nightfall" will release along with the "In the Dark of the Night" collection on Sept 29th at 8pm MDT in the Night Owl Lacquer shop for $12.00 and will come with a free 1 oz wax melt in the scent by the same name.
"Nightfall" Wax Melt
Lindsay created the Nightfall wax melt scent to mimic walking through the woods at night in the fresh cool air. The main scents are balsam fir and crackling birch with slight undertones of cedar, oak, amber, musk, floral. It's very fresh and crisp, but I'm personally on the fence about the scent. Sometimes I get a whiff and really like it, other times it came on too strong. But scent preferences are SO personal that I hesitate to "review" it one way or another. What I was really pleased with is the fact that I started smelling it very soon after I put it in my warmer and it filled the room really nicely.
She also sent me a sample "Maple Glazed Peaches" wax melt which smells good enough to eat! (But don't). I haven't tried it in my warmer yet, but I know it'll be perfect for fall now that we're (hopefully) done with these 90 degree days. There isn't an official date yet for when other wax melts will launch in the shop, but it will be in the near future.
All photos in this post are taken under artificial light. Polish is worn over 1 base coat of Smith & Cult "Basis of Everything" and topped with Glisten & Glow HK Girl topcoat. This polish was provided for my honest review.

Maker description: a violet/red/orange/gold multichrome with scattered holo and full of holographic micro flakies.
2 coats + topcoat
There isn't much to say about this beauty that can't be seen from the photos. It has flawless coverage and formula, it's LOADED with sparkle and flakies, and it shifts like crazy. It's really, really beautiful and so fitting for a one year celebration!
Isn't she gorgeous? I'll be surprised if this isn't a fan favorite!
Don't forget to head to the Night Owl Lacquer shop Sept 29th at 8pm MDT to grab your bottle.
