For The Paint Schemes Swatches & Review
Inspiration notes from Pam, the maker of Stella Chroma: "We aren't video gamers at STELLA CHROMA, but our son is! He comes to the farm to visit most weekends and always brings his PS4. I like watching Grand Theft Auto for the fun paint schemes on the cars."
As if I didn't already think this was a gorgeous polish, the GTA inspiration appeals to me as well. I used to play WAY too often with my then boyfriend, (now husband: stealing cars really brings people together, ya know?), and our best friend, but for us, it was mostly entering lots of cheat codes and running around causing mayhem. Aaaand now I have the sudden urge to steal a helicopter... Anyway, onto the swatches.
Maker description: dark grey base with crazy shifting pigment that goes from red to grey-ish to vibrant green. We also threw in some holo, because why not?
2 coats + topcoat
My thoughts: I'm a big fan of this gorgeous chameleon polish! So much so that I had every intention of doing a nude or pink mani after this swatching session, but instead opted for a full mani of this shade which I wore for several days and received lots of compliments on. The formula is excellent, I just recommend capping the tips of your nails on the first coat rather than the second, to avoid a little lip at the edge from all the pigment.
Coconut Citrus Sorbet Sugar Scrub
You've probably come to know that I'm a huge fan of Stella Chroma's sugar scrubs, this one included. I don't always love coconut scents, since they often remind me too much of sunscreen, but this one has enough sweetness and citrus added that it's the perfect summer scent. Light and sweet, but not overwhelming after use, just like all of their scrubs.
