Morgan Taylor Beauty and the Beast Nail Art
Earlier I shared my swatches and review of the Morgan Taylor Beauty and the Beast Spring 2017 collection. Today I have nail art to match! The pinks in this collection were my favorites, so I used those to create nail art inspired by the enchanted rose in the movie.
Since I haven't seen the live action movie yet, (it hits theaters March 17, 2017), I was partially inspired by the animated classic, plus some brief scenes from the trailer. I chose to recreate the enchanted rose. For those who aren't familiar, here's a snippet from the animated movie:
Full disclosure: I received these products compliments of Morgan Taylor as part of the #PreenMeVIP program.
Beauty and the Beast Enchanted Rose Nail Art
For the base, I used Morgan Taylor Plumette with Excitement (pale pink). The glass dome was painted using Potts of Tea (white) and Gaston and On and On (sky blue). The rose and petals were created using The Last Petal (jewel tone red) and a bit of Be Our Guest (pink). I painted all details using a skinny nail art brush from Born Pretty Store.
I love how this nail art turned out! Before I attempt painting anything by hand, I usually practice on a nail wheel to make sure I can pull it off. In this case, I think my full mani turned out better than the practice round, which is always a plus. (The black lines were a late addition to my practice nail, using a sharpie pen. Yikes.)
I hope you enjoyed my nail art! Are you excited to see the live action movie soon?
